This was actually a reread. I first read this book a few years back and really enjoyed it. When I saw that Lisa Unger was coming to by local library, I picked up her new book and went back to reread this one. I enjoyed it just as much the second time around.

I haven't had a lot of reading or reviewing time lately, so I'm late actually writing a review for this one. A friend gave Beautiful Lies to me because I like mysteries and she had enjoyed it. I too ended up liking this one. The mystery wasn't that difficult to figure out, but the story was very com...

Entertaining read with a good storyline. A little bit let down by a lingering ended, which didn't feel quite as well crafted as other aspects of the book, generally, though, a pretty enjoyable story.

I was no big fan of the heroine, or the romance, or the endless descriptions. And I honestly didn't want to read this book after the first 10 pages. But it just hooked me on, I couldn't put it down because I wanted to know what would happen next and how the whole mystery would unravel. The plot was ...

Good story well written ESP the first person but the downside to 1st is when u get off track or wander and the author IMO did this a lot. I'd still read another book by her though :)

Tried this from the library, didn't capture my attention right away. Life is too short.

Overall, I enjoyed this read. I think its main draw would have to be the sexy Jake - that's certainly how it came to be on my reading list - "You have to read this book. The main guy is Hot!", so I did.In fact, I've read it a few times. I love taking a ride with Ridley as her fears grow and she and ...

Beautiful Lies, while not a book I would have otherwise picked up if not for a challenge, was the story of Ridley Jones and how her life turned out to be much different than she was brought up to believe. The story is part mystery, part romance. The big mystery is a "who am I" type where Ridley st...
