A nice new spin on the classic Hades and Persephone story. It was good, intense, and emotional. I liked it. Not my favorite Bec McMaster book, but I think it definitely has potential. The plot concept was interesting and different. The characters were well developed. I’m not sure what slowed me down...
OMG!! Such an awesome conclusion to an awesome series. It was perfect. It was priceless. It was romantic and passionate. It was full of action and suspense, and the whole crew played a role in the finale. Loved. Every. Second. I almost don’t want to write a review because I don’t want to ruin ...
The first part was easy to read and leave and then I got 50% and didn't want to put it down. Then I got 85% and just wanted it to end.I enjoyed it enough, but not to unreservedly continue the series. I'm just not sure yet. 3.5ish.
Oh, so good. Man, Russia was intense and Lark’s back story was so well developed. So much drama. So much depth. So much action. Loved. Every. Second. Of. It. Lark and Charlie have been around since book one in the original London Steampunk series. Charlie is Honoria’s brother who Blade helps deal wi...
Sirius Blackfrost has been the villain in this series from the beginning but he showed possible redeeming qualities in the last one when he rescued the handmaiden from his father and aunt’s wrath. She is a Drekling, half-blood, servant within the Dreki court and has always been invisible except to S...
I so love the steampunk world Bec McMaster has woven together. From the beginning her style or story telling and character development has been vibrant and captivating. I love all of the characters we meet in her London Steampunk universe and Gemma and Obsidian are no exception. They met and fell i...
I think this is by far my favorite in the series. Loved Johnny Colton and Eden McClain. Their adventure was action packed, intense, exciting and well-developed. I loved the chemistry between the two characters and their backstory made for an even stronger plot and conflict; they really had to get ...
Book two in Bec McMaster’s new series set in Norway, where dragons thrive and where it is deadly to be royalty, especially when you are one dragon princess who fled her human husband several years ago and is now being hunted by that very husband turned dragon slayer. Ardis left to protect the man sh...
The third and final book in the Dark Arts trilogy brings everything to a head and the couple I have very much looked forward to getting to know, Sebastian and Cleo. From the moment they grace the pages as secondary characters in books one and two they grabbed my attention so I was super excited to f...
A new series from the author that brought us the steampunk series, London Steampunk, is now trying her hand at dragons in 1800s Iceland. This was a fresh spin on the dragon genre of paranormal romance and I liked Bec's take on the lore. The two main characters were strong and suited each other well....
