Becky Lyn was born in Bellefontaine, OH but left when she was six weeks old and hasn't stopped moving since. Life as an Air Force brat led to life as a grasshopper always looking for the next adventure. She has called 74 places home. Along the way, she had two adventurous marriages and picked up over 50 children including 4 biological, 5 steps, and 45 fosters. She is known by mame, granny, grandma and Mighty Bob to 10 grandchildren and counting. It took a while to figure out that she was a writer. While she was sorting that out, she spent time as a cabinetmaker/carpenter, designer/seamstress, deli broad, hospice worker, executive housekeeper and executive assistant. She has done extensive volunteer work with Special Olympics, hospice, literacy and preschool reading programs as well as many church callings. She currently lives in MO with (surprise, surprise) two cats, Mr. Bingley and Mr. Darcy. She spends her nights dreaming of and her days writing books based on all of the colorful, complex and multi-faceted characters she's met in her grasshoppering.
