This is a novel that no-one should review. It is just too easy to write a spoiler, just a word or a phrase, be it as cryptic as you can make it, that will ruin the journey. Unfortunately I read such a spoiler, and cryptic as it was, I knew where the journey would end. Mostly. Never mind the im...
I've read a lot of fantastic books lately, so Before I go to Sleep had some stiff competition. Having said that, I've been wanting to read this psychological thriller since it was first published. Christine has no memory. Every morning she wakes up not knowing where she is, let alone the identity of...

Everyone seemed to love this thriller. It's now a movie with Nicole Kidman, due to come out next year. I'm always conflicted when I pick up a book that everyone loves and find myself running into the sand after a couple of chapters. I don't want to believe that I'm just a contrary critter and that...

So everyday when she wakes up, she's forgotten what happened yesterday. If you watch the Drew Barrymore's movie Fifth Fir...
I've listened to the english version of the audiobook and I really, really liked it a lot. I love those books where you think you know the answer on one page and then you are proven wrong on the next one. While reading this you feel a lot like the main character, trying desperately to make sense of ...

When she enters the bathroom and looks in the mirror the woman looking back at her is much older than she expected. Around the mirror are pictures of this strange woman and the man she woke up with...
Almost a five... except I guessed the twist. However, much, much better than the normal amnesiac stories - forget '50 first dates' - clever, really tense and had me up till way past my bedtime. Characterisation difficult because of the nature of the story, but still very good.
