I loved the first book in the this trilogy, (I am very stingy with my 5 stars), and so I was a little disappointed in this book at first. It was a little harder for me to warm up to. The second book is as good or better than the first. The story line is just so believeable/reasonable in how the populace reacts to the evolved superhumans.
