TW: mention of past rape (no details given), alcoholism, domestic abuse, internal homophobia I don't know who Lord Murdo saw about his personality transplant, but he's hardly recognizable here. And that's a good thing! I like this version of Murdo much better. No more random accusations and guilt ...

This series is actually my first foray back into historical romance in quite a while and the world of m/m historical romance possibly ever. I have issues with historical romance (see last review, I hate being repetitive). The first book was so much better than I had expected and I really enjoyed it....
