2 stars: While I appreciated the pace of the story which helped build the tension, the main reveal happens early in the book which took some of the thrill out of this thriller for me.

I could hardly put this book down. I think I finished it faster than I did the Breakdown. I even enjoyed this one more than the Breakdown. This was a pretty fast paced story and it held a lot more suspense. A lot more! I'm not sure how to even review this without spoiling anything. You learn right...

Cons: A few slow moments, but towards the end I felt it started to rush and slightly predictable. Pros: I had no idea I would be in store for a crazy good, demented psychological treat. Every page turned built up anticipation for the next page. The way B.A. Paris sets the pages for a smooth, ge...

AudibleI found the beginning much more better than the whole package. The more I learned about an other monstrous nature of a charming lawyer the more implausible the whole story appeared. Not that I don't believe that domestic violence exists, but here it is another level of it, let's talk about a...

I'm not exactly sure of the reason, but I could not connect to Behind Closed Doors at all. I didn't feel a thing for any of the characters or what happened to them. It wasn't a thriller for me. The plot isn't very plausible, but I was willing to look past it so my lack of connection wasn't from that...

I had a good time reading Behind Closed Doors. Until about 80% in, that is. Then the BS factor jumped and I had a tougher time staying immersed in the story. The very ending, though, helped me feel better about the book again. I walked away feeling mostly good about the experience and still looking ...

B. A. Paris takes a reader to a relationship that appears perfect but appearances are often deceiving: Jack and Grace are the perfect couple, they do everything together and never want to be apart. He is a successful lawyer and she is an amazing house wife; they are the epitome of what True Love lo...

The title, blurb, and first chapter of this book plainly lay out the situation its protagonist, Grace Angel, is in. As far as the guests of Jack and Grace Angel's dinner party can tell, they are witnessing the perfect couple entertaining in the perfect house, serving perfect food and sharing storie...

Behind Closed Doors - B. A. Paris So, I just knew I had this all figured out. We all know that Jack's a bad guy right. It's pretty obvious that that is going to be the big twist. But, You just have no idea how bad of a guy this guy is. Seriously. A special place in hell for that one. My th...

I finished this book two days ago, and it's still in my head because it was such a "wow factor" book. Jack and Grace seem to have the perfect lives. Everyone with a mind knows there's no such thing as perfect. So why did only one person in this book pick up on the fact that something might be wrong ...
