I'm not exactly sure of the reason, but I could not connect to Behind Closed Doors at all. I didn't feel a thing for any of the characters or what happened to them. It wasn't a thriller for me. The plot isn't very plausible, but I was willing to look past it so my lack of connection wasn't from that...
I had a good time reading Behind Closed Doors. Until about 80% in, that is. Then the BS factor jumped and I had a tougher time staying immersed in the story.
