The Foreword to Diary of a Nudist - below - is a short but pretty comprehensive profile of Belinda; Married and pregnant at age sixteen Belinda Mosse spent the major part of her life in the little country village where she was born. When her children found their own partners and left home Belinda got divorced and in that same year discovered what she herself describes as ' the joys of naturism '. She went off to London to start a new life and has kept a daily diary ever since that fateful day. To the casual observer, as she wanders the supermarket aisles doing her regular shopping Belinda may look just like any other woman; a wife and mother, having to earn a living , to do the housework and cleaning , the odd bit of babysitting even. But although she may look that way Belinda is far from ordinary. For taking up a naturist way of life has not only changed the way she lives but has also radically altered the way she thinks It has been a sometimes hectic but always interesting time for Belinda. She has loved the excitement of dancing the night away at the Ritz and the thrill of being kissed by Richard Gere, but has been just as happy sharing a simple picnic on a wild deserted beach with an old man and his dog. Equally at home in a designer suit, a cheap sarong or nothing at all Belinda has always kept her feet firmly on the ground and in spite of everything has remained the same delightfully simple little country girl she always was." m.g. 1996
