Bella Sinclair grew up in Southern California but migrated to New York in search of four real seasons and old style architecture. She earned a B.A. from Cornell University and a Ph.D. from NYU with the intent of becoming a professor of psychology. But fate had other plans, and she got sidetracked with raising two ridiculously wonderful daughters and moving for a little while to Tokyo, Japan. Though she enjoyed drawing as a child, she never thought it would amount to anything. So shortly after high school, she let her drawing supplies collect dust for many, many years. It was while living in Japan that she discovered she could connect globally with others through art. Since then, she has been happily scribbling and hobnobbing with fellow doodlers. She is currently back in her hometown in Southern California, very appreciative of the temperate weather, and crossing fingers in hopes that her kids never move away to a place with four real seasons and old style architecture.
