Having read and reread this book several times now, I think Desdaine and Laren have deserved an OTP slot of their own.

I love Jez Morrow's books and this was no exception! Engaging sci-fi story about enemies turned lovers. Desdaine was awesome, vulnerable yet the loyal soldier. And Laren was perfect for him.
