This was a much bigger hit with me than it was with my kids. They were desperate to know why everything was so dark. Me, I loved the illustrations, and I enjoyed the story. The 4 stars are for me; the kids could take it or leave it.
This seems like it would be perfect for lulling small children to sleep.
Absolutely splendid. Excellent presentation, wonderful graphics. I fell head-over-heels in love with this book. The text is clear without the slightest hint of condescension, and the examples given are stellar indeed. The afterword brings up Fibonacci. One for the permanent collection, no question.
Illustrations remind me of Goodnight, Moon, simple story with a lot of repetition. Quick read.
