Bethanie Armstrong was born in Birmingham, Alabama in 1971. She graduated from UAB in 1995 with a B.S. in Early Childhood Education and went back in 1998 to get her Master's Degree in Special Education. She taught preschool for twelve years and public school for three years before becoming a stay-at-home mother at age thirty-two. At age thirty-eight, she began the life-changing task of homeschooling her two children. They all love it, although it can be a little testing at times. However, the good always outweighs the bad. She has been writing since she was in high school, became serious about it at age thirty-seven, and turned it into a career by age 40. She loves reading and writing, and loves to discover new and great young authors. Her favorite books are YA books and Paranormal Books, among many others. When asked about how many others, she said, "There are so many outstanding books that come out everyday, I don't know how long my list would be." She loves the classics of Shakespeare, Jules Verne, and Charles Dickens. She is currently working on seven novels and three co-authored novels. She was once asked what was next, her response, "My mind never stops working. There is no telling what might come up next. Anything can start a book." She also has a blog she writes lovesfirstkiss.wordpress.com . On this you can find book reviews, writing advice, and her page "On Life".
