A chambermaid is brutally beaten, raped, and strangled in a suite at the Roarke Plaza Hotel. The killer is quickly established, but Sylvester Yost is a killer of hire. Who would hire someone to kill a young, innocent chambermaid? But with the next body, the connection is suddenly clear. Someone has ...
How did I miss this one?I read in chronological order and I miss this one! This is mindnumbing. (pant, pant) I'm okay now. I'm all caught up and I loved this one. (of course) Sly Yost, a virtuoso of music and murder is a yummy bad guy and everyone else is out to catch his evil butt! Yahoo!
While I enjoyed this mystery, nothing much happened between Eve and Roarke, expect that Eve was the logical one in this book, but thats expected at some point. Still I'm not bored yet.
I love Dallas and Roarke. In this tale a maid is murdered at one of Roarke's hotels. Then an editor at one of his publishing houses is murdered. Their only link is Roarke. Eve figures Roarke is the target but he won't agree to her plan to keep him safe. An old friend from Ireland, believed to be dea...

We have a friend of Roarke showing up in a ver...

I enjoyed it, but it wasn't as much fun as others have been. There's an assassin on the move in Eve's New...

He beats then, rapes them and then finishes them off with his trademark weapon, a silver piece of wire. This guy is a slick criminal, both intelligent a...
