Betsy Tobin is an American novelist and playwright, born and raised in the Midwest, now living in the UK. She is the author of four novels: BONE HOUSE, short-listed for the Commonwealth Prize and winner of a Herodotus Prize in America, THE BOUNCE, ICE LAND, and most recently CRIMSON CHINA, a BBC Radio 4 Book-At-Bedtime and shortlisted for Romantic Epic Novel of the Year. She is a past winner of the London Writers' Competition for her short story, JOYRIDE. In between books she dabbles in writing for stage and radio.
