I loved this book - a pacy, engaging read, which had me staying up well past my bedtime to see how it ended!
This book was full of secrets...lots and lots of secrets. I really enjoyed reading it - the main character (Nonny) grabbed my attention right from the beginning, and the amount of crazy in her life kept me coming back. All the characters were interesting and for a lot of the book I didn't know WHAT...
Great story, loved the local color and family dynamics. Great read!
i fell in love with Ms. Jackson's first book, Gods in Alabama. this one has a lovely story and great characters as well. however, i can't tune into it fast enough. although i'm not sure i can blame it to the story (after all, i just finish the deathly hallows and it's so hard to start reading other ...
