Read my full review: http://bit.ly/18DduYA3.5/5 StarsMy opinion: This story is told from two different perspectives (Annie and Dom Justin) in two different periods of time. I loved that, but must admit that I did love Dom Justin's story and felt it was more engaging than Annie's story. On that note,...
A Book Addict's Musings by Readinghearts
The publisher's blurb for Beverly Swerling's new novel, Bristol House talked about the blending of historical fiction with a supernatural thriller in a "dual period narrative". While I appreciate the amount of research the author did into medical history of this time and treatment of slaves, the gore factor is...

I just loved this, couldn't put it down until the end. I, like other reviewers, learned more about this time in American history, the French and Indian Wars, than I ever did in our public shool systems (which really didn't teach us very much history at all). This book has it all, true love, honor, p...
