I enjoyed my time with this book. The characters are original and the setting feels authentic. There's humor and tragedy and great southern charm. I'm definitely continuing the series.

A good read set in my home state. I liked it but I'm not sure I liked enough to read anything else by the author. It's been 6 years since I read it so it's a good bet I won't be reading any of the others in this series and probably nothing else by this author.
Adriana Trigiani became a favorite author of mine after reading Big Stone Gap. Great story, and characters! I loved Jack Mack, what a cutie!
I really enjoyed this one, a nice easy read, fun, the kind of book that makes you smile when you are finished. The characters are well developed and quirky and full of flavor! I can't wait to read the other books in the series. :)
