Bill Ogden lived in a very special place, from July, 1961, to September, 1965, where he had purchased the new 1962 Corvette that carried him on the incredible adventures depicted in volumes 1-4 of "When We Were Young With Our Corvettes." That automobile was sold in 1966... re-purchased in 2007...and restored to a condition that earned it the coveted NCRS DUNTOV Mark of Excellence Award in 2011.The story of how the car was found is remarkable enough. But perhaps even more so is how it led him tell the story of his adventures that are the heart and soul of our youth...when the 1960s and southern California were not just a time and place. It was a way of life. Go back with him and experience how it feels to be so young without a care in the world, when wars and politics made no difference, and all that mattered was whether the surf was up.Bill and his wife of more than fifty years live near Chicago, Illinois.
