William (Bill) Pirtle has been in the field of credit card processing since 2004.With 10 years prior experience in retail management, he is an expert in loss prevention and training. In his business, Merchant Processing Consulting & Training LLC, Bill coached business owners on credit card processing procedures, security compliance, and other good business practices. Bill is currently a Regional Sales Manager for MainStream Merchant Services where he hires and trains credit card processing agents and helps business owners accept credit cards. Bill is an active participant on the Green Sheet, a credit card industry forum sponsored by Green Sheet magazine. He was interviewed in the Green Sheet Magazine column, "AgenTalk," in the April 13, 2009 issue. From April of 2011 to March of 2012, Bill wrote the Street Smarts column for The Green Sheet.Bill wrote Navigating Through the Risks of Credit Card Processing to assist business owners selecting a merchant services provider. So many ISOs began using the book to train agents, Bill gathered a team of experts writing in their own niche to produce Credit Card Processing for Sales Agents and its Study Guide with the specific purpose of giving companies a method of training and agents a method of learning the industry.MainStream Merchant Services hired Bill in December of 2014.
