1.5 stars. Really bad but there's just not enough of it there to actually hate. It is a bad Buffy rip off. so much so that I'm not entirely sure why Warner isn't suing for copyright. Except Buffy at least had other females who helped Buffy. This book definitely suffers from the lone female problem.

I read the words ‘Vampire Slayer’ in the blurb and got certain ideas about what this book would be like and what it would include. ...
Basically a Buffy knockoff (even lampshaded by the author) without Buffy's social commentary, mix with a bit Sookie etc. It's fun but IMHO hardly original.

On the night of her 18th birthday, Val is kicked out her family after her mother worries that her night activit...

I am happy about the eas...
