4.5 starsWhew! This 3rd installment was fantastic! It kept me engrossed the whole time! Some of my questions was answered but so much more arose.. I am really into this world and can't wait to see what's next in store for John and Kyle!
I started reading this series with my lovely friend M'rella and I sort of scooted on ahead of her. Sorry, M'rella, :-( Ginn Hale's Rifter series has been a big chunk of my life for the past week. I've posted little mini reviews if you will as I've read each book with the intent that I would do an...
Things are definitely looking up with book #3. I think it's partially because I'm feeling like there's more interaction between characters as the story progresses, and I really like this, but mostly because I'm becoming more comfortable with the world that Ginn Hale has created. I'll review all the books in the series when I finish the last one.Happy ending? No. It's a serial and it ends in depressing cliffhangers.
Now were talking! This is galloping along and I'm coming to grips with the parallel worlds. The present reveals more of the past and the future hints at the present. It's all fast, crazy good and totally addictive. In the present John's powers are slowly emerging and it would seem his bond with the E...

In the present John leads the life of a novice priest at Rathal’pesha.'John leaned closer to read the miniscule gold letters that surrounded the figure. Kahl...

My favorite by far of what I've read of The Rifter series. Some of the thought/suspicions and questions I had from book 1 & 2 are coming together in this book and somewhat being addressed. The story from both John and Kyle's perspective is riveting and it's just so hard to stop reading.
