"I wonder-- what if everyone is pretty much the same and it's just a thousand small choices that add up to the person you are? No good or evil, no black or white, no inner demons or angels whispering the right answers in our ears like it's some cosmic SAT test. Just us, hour by hour, minute by minut...

This is book 3 of a trilogy. This review, and even the book summary, is likely to contain spoilers for previous books in the series. Skip this until you're caught up. Book summary from Goodreads, cause I'm lazy and it works well_ In a world where magic is illegal, Cassel Sharpe has the most deadly...

I listened to this book as an unabridged audio. It's read by Jesse Eisenberg who does a decent but not awesome job. All of his characters pretty much sound the same. It was a good end to the series but for some reason it seemed to lag in places and get a wee bit boring. Who knows, maybe it was just...

I am so sad. The Curse Workers series has been one of my favorites, and I am sad that it's over. This is an outstanding series, and I highly recommend. This book isn't quite like the other two. There's a lot more action. The main action is Cassel working with the Feds to take down a powerful man who ...

3.5 stars. It's been a long time since I've completed a trilogy. This was a nice conclusion. Everybody's happy.

I love this book series so much and the final book did not disappoint. Black created such an awesome crime world meets paranormal that I wish this series would go on for even longer. Cassel is one of my all time favorite characters. Highly recommend this series.

I think it took me so long to read this book because I didn't want the Curseworkers series to be over. Since I listened to the first two books on audio , I heard Jesse Eisenberg's voice in my head as I was reading. There is just SO much I love about this series -- Cassel's amazing narrative voice, h...
