3.5Not bad, not great. Interesting characters, but the plot feels so "been there, read that already". I had hoped for more originality, but still, this wasn't bad. It just could have been so much better. Review to come.

Garret James is an ordinary New Yorker, with a very complicated lineage. On a day out, Garret stumbles upon Lee, the proprietor of a weird store. Lee is not interested in her ability to make jewelery but he does request that she open a silver box for him. Like Pandora's box, when Garret opens it, d...

Read until 20% but could not get into the story, not much seemed to happen in time I spent reading, don't know if was writing style, was very descriptive - just didn't move quick enough for me to invest more time in it. It has many good reviews, but not for me. DNF**I received this book via netgalle...

I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. I'm not a fan of vampires and werewolves in modern fiction and I'm getting fairly bored with the whole Fey/Faerie thing, as well. I usually read the more action-inspired UF; this one was a very enjoyable change of pace. If you must have a lot of romance or...

I really enjoyed this book when I first started reading it.... but then it just lost it's "umpf". I liked the characters, and the writing. The story had so much potential, but then about the middle of the story the Author's seemed to drop the ball. I finished the book feeling really disappointed....
