I liked the story concept and it sucked me in fairly quickly. I thought some of the flashbacks were introduced rather clumsily and I found the ending forced.
Was okay. The historical fiction could use some work-didn't read like 1933-but the story was compelling. LOTS of coincidences and things that "just happen to work out". Totally annoying, but I did want to know what happened to Daniel. I agree with some of the lower rated reviews-- flat character dev...
Omg! I loved The Violets of March but I think I love this book even more! Sarah Jio does it again! Drawing the reader in with a tale of mystery and heartache, you want these two women to succeed. It may seem hard at first to get use to the style if switching back and forth between tel stories but Ji...

Two women whose lives are one day connected by fate, and famil...
