Rise up while you can. -Georgia Mason
The year was 2014. The year we cured cancer. The year we cured the common cold. And the year the dead started to walk. The year of the Rising.
The year was 2039. The world didn't end when the zombies came, it just got worse. Georgia and Shaun Mason set out on the biggest story of their generation. They uncovered the biggest conspiracy since the Rising and realized that to tell the truth, sacrifices have to be made.
Now, the year is 2041, and the investigation that began with the election of President Ryman is much bigger than anyone had assumed. With too much left to do and not much time left to do it in, the surviving staff of After the End Times must face mad scientists, zombie bears, rogue government agencies-and if there's one thing they know is true in post-zombie America, it's this:
Things can always get worse.
Blackout is the conclusion to the epic trilogy that began in the Hugo-nominated Feed and the sequel, Deadline.

Others can give you a mediocre story, and deli...
I said about Deadline that Shaun deserves better. In here, it's all about Shaun and his pain and frankly, all of the After The End Times deserves better. Everyone else's pain was pushed aside and Georgia's journalistic guilt crisis seemed to come out of nowhere. I didn't mind the—I meant it about ...
My review and an extended sample of the audiobook are posted at Hotlistens.com. Wow! That is the biggest thing that comes to mind when I read this story. It is the final part of the Newsflesh Trilogy. (Yes, there is another book coming out this year, but this is the end of the line for the crew fo...
This review was originally posted on One Curvy BloggerBlackout is the third and final book in the Newsflesh trilogy and boy was it a stunning read! I knew I just had to read this book ASAP as soon as I finished Deadline and was left with that awful – but amazing – cliffhanger. Just when I think Gran...
Not much to say on this one really. Perfect end to a perfect series and I highly recommend the whole darn lot of them. DESPITE the trauma. Or because of it. Loved these. Every last minute. SO sad to leave them behind.
