Is that a reference to the Sandman on page 110? I think it is, and that's awesome.Certainly the volume with the most character development and exploration of Ichigo's motives so far. A quick read but the action scenes still mystify me.

a boy who can see ghosts becomes a Reaper, one who sends ghosts to their rest. Reminded me of Yu Yu Hakusho, with spirit power, ghosts, etc.
