by Nora Roberts
Super rapey.
One of the few old school Nora novels that I really liked.
I re-read this one recently. Hillary Baxter works as a model in New York and when she's on assignment for wealthy tycoon Bret Bardoff she finds that it's hard to seperate business from pleasure. It's a light read, fun but nothing exceptional.
I'm not really sure I can say that I loved this one by Nora. I'm a big fan and normally love her books, but this early work by her wasn't for me. I didn't get the connection between Hillary and Brett. I thought he was a chauvinist and kind of a jerk. I felt he definitely lead Hillary on in the beg...
Another smooth read by Ms. Roberts. The only problem I have with these books is that after a while, they all start feeling the same. Sometimes, the same old, same old is comforting. I know I can always count on Ms. Roberts for a fast enjoyable read.
