The only reason I finished this one is because I was listening to it at work and had no wifi to download another book from the library at work.. And there was no conclusion to the book at all... So I listened to Caleb being a jackass for a couple hours and then nothing. Ugh disappointed:/

This series just keeps getting better and better! The book was so good! The characters are broken, dark, sensual and amazingly appealing. The writing is spot on, and this story was written with a dual POV.Ms. Pryor creates an incredibly dark dystopian world with great characters who each have world ch...

I love Lindsay J Pryor's 'Blackthorn'. The first book in the series 'Blood Shadows' captured my interest. Book number two 'Blood Roses' is compelling. The story does stand alone as an episode of life in 'Blackthorn'but for maximum enjoyment meet Kane and Caitlin in 'Blood Shadows' first.Leila is a c...

**Find this and other reviews @ The Demon Librarian** Intense!Blackthorn is not a nice place. Just ask Leila, the leading lady of Blood Roses. From the moment Leila stepped onto the page, I felt for her. Raised her whole life in the safety and security of Summerton, she has never set foot on the vamp...

I had a really hard time getting through this book. I liked the premise and I found the world building intriguing, but the romance did not work for me at all.It all starts when Leila gets a call from her sister, Alisha, begging for help. Alisha says she is being held by vampires. She needs Leila to ...

Okay, although I didn't love this book as much as Blood Shadows, Lindsay J. Pryor is an author with a great potential. She writes paranormal romance mixed with urban fantasy the way I like it - clever world-building, intense characters and no easy options for them to take. Also, be ready for plenty ...
