There were some things I liked and didn't. What I liked: Cat. She's strong and witty, but most definitely not perfect. I liked that she clearly communicated her issues with Lex. "Is it really so much to ask that just once I be worth sacrificing something for?" I thought it was funny that Porti...
Goat Heads and Sand Burrs, P. Kirby's Reading Blog
Starts off with a strong premise: outcast witch finds herself in the unlikely position of vying for job of Titiana, the intercessor between the land of fairy and Earth's magical critters AND her competition is none other than her father, the man who killed her mother. This was a pretty fun read. The premise was really good and the characters are wonderful. Cat and Lex are great and their story was eventful. Maybe even 2.5...felt like two different books combined into one super long one...and the heroine irritated me, she kept making decisions with little to no thought behind them...there was quite a bit ...

Cat has to win this or her father an evil man will win and throw the faerie realm in chaos. On top of competing for Titania...

What a wonderful surprise this book was!!!! I had so much fun reading it and I hated that I didn't have time to read it faster. This is one funny, witty, sexy and honest paranormal book with a heroine that you have to love. Catherine (Cat) is a heroine that is a bit different, she's not perfectly be...
