Re-Post of 6/16/2017 review now that there's a bookclub for series: I like Jane. I enjoy this series. I'm looking forward to reading the next one. This one ... just somehow didn't measure up to the first five. Filler maybe? Flat might be a better word -- in comparison to earlier books. Ser...
Created a bookclub for Faith Hunter's Jane Yellowrock series at http://booklikes.com/groups/show/987/series-jane-yellowrock if anyone is interested. Not trying to assign a "monthly" read schedule to each book because everyone is at such different places in the series. Joining will collect member ...
I'll start with the ending this time - that was so nice to see and it pleased me a great deal that
the following books will possible reopen Jane and Molly's friendship. I miss Angie.
The plot was nice and I liked getting a glimpse of how it all started. Seems like we get a bit ...
4.5 Stars!Catching up with some of my favourite paranormal kick-ass/bad-ass heroines.... Jane Yellowrock is definitely that and more! A shape shifter and a skinwalker who will fight if it'll be the last thing she'll do. She kills Big Bad Uglies or BBVs—Big Bad Vamps and works as part time enforcer...
I like Jane. She's a no nonsense badass motherfucker. I respect that. What I don't like about her is that she's constantly blaming herself for everything! I also don't like how people wrong her in so many different ways and they expect her to forgive them, yet she makes a bad judgment call and i...
Don't get me wrong. The book itself wasn't bad, it's the direction or lack of it for the whole series that I'm having issues with. The earlier Jane Yellowrock I loved. First three books are brilliant and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to any urban fantasy fan, but ultimately the series is stuc...
Aside from the luuurve triangle it was a good time. Bristling with weaponry, gross monsters, magic and enough guilt to choke a Catholic--this book left me impatiently checking the calendar to see when the next one comes out. As for Jane/Rick/Bruiser, I give her one more book to pick one of these guy...
I enjoyed this book but I am getting tired of the will they/won't they with various characters. At some point she needs to make a decision and there needs to not be external things blocking them from being together.
Didn't like this quite as much as book #5, but still a solid addition to the series. Wish Jane would stop hemming and hawing over the men, and just pick one!
I adore this series, but this one was a little slower to start than previous books. It was a little hard going in the first 1/3 but picked up and had me engrossed. I think I enjoy this series so much because Jane is not solely focused on the romance. I love reading romance novels, but sometimes I wa...
