The author graduated from Florida Presbyterian College, now Eckerd College, in 1966. He began his career as a counselor in a programn for serious and habitual juvenile offenders and ended same as a program manager for the state of Florida for all manner of programs for dependent and delinquent children in the Panhandle. The author will tell you that his head is full of stories from those thirty some odd years of service to kids. Often hilarious, often heart wrenching, and always relevant to the protection of children, his novels reflect his experiences and his respect for the social workers, cops, and counselors who work with kids in trouble.
