Bob has been an active field medic for three decades beginning in the early days of NYC EMS paramedic service. He received his original medic training in "daBronx" in class 3 and worked the streets of Queens, Manhattan and Brooklyn till he moved to the Albany area in 1980. He has worked for the NYS EMS Bureau in Training having developed courses such as the AAPS, CTC, and the instructor development programs. He was the Training Coordinator for EMS Update and PULSE having written over 100 video scripts and magazine articles.Bob currently teaches at the Hudson Valley Community College Paramedic Program in Troy, NY. He is also an active medic with the Colonie EMS Department, Times Union Center and Whiteface Medical Services Area. He is a passionate advocate for the American Heart Association serving on the Capital Area Board, the statewide ECC Committee, the state advocacy committee, the Founder's Affiliate Volunteer Leadership Committee, and holds the position of National Faculty for ACLS.
