Bob Emery is President and Founder of Global Opportunities for Christ (www.GOforChrist.org), a non-profit organization that supports indigenous Christian ministries around the world. For 10 years he ran a successful insurance and financial services business, which included the sales and marketing of insurance and investment products, mortgages, and trusts, as well as the recruiting, training, and managing of a substantial sales force. In 1992 he left the business world to go into full-time missions work. In 1996 he founded Global Opportunities for Christ. Since then Bob has traveled extensively overseas researching Christian ministries, cultivating relationships with Christian leaders, and teaching in churches, at conferences, and in Bible schools. He is the author of four books and lives in Charlottesville, Virginia with his wife Sandra. They have two married daughters and three grandchildren.
