RW(Bob) Love (1933) born in Mountain Home, Idaho of Scotch/Irish ancestory. Now a retired widower he and his wife managed and owned claims and marine survey companies in Alaska for 44 years. As a pilot he flew the Alaska bush handling commercial risk losses including aviation and maritime. He was claims administrator for the London underwriters of the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill cleanup in Alaska. After spending 30 years of sporatic research and changes in theme, Destiny's Voyage was to be a family story of his maternal grandfather's migration to the USA, a survivor of the SS Atlantic disaster, but developed from his interests in human factors and events into a story about how the ship and her souls were affected by life's destiny. A deep respect and interest in non-fiction historical works, his next book is on an infamous lady of the evening in the old west mining camps. His vocation includes law enforcement and the major case loss investigations from the north coast of the Arctic Oceon to the the Marshall Islands in the South Pacific. With a treasure chest of experience to be mined for near limitless fiction and non-fiction tales, he hopes the Good Lord will grant him the time to share many of them.
