Just didn't work for me. Some of the speech bubbles has text missing and the characters of Lex and Timmy are unrecognisable with their movie counterparts. A bit too corporate centered and choppy, switching back and forth between various sub-plots, to work as a cohesive comic, for me. I'm giving bonu...
The art is GREAT. But I am not on the Frank Miller fanboat - I don't like his version of Batman.
Brutal as all hell, and f'ing AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought Grant Morrison's stuff was going to be my favorite, and even though Frank Miller seems to be hit or miss with Batman, this shit was off the CHAIN! LOVED EVERY FREAKING BIT OF IT.
I will admit that I have some mixed feelings about this volume. On the one hand I like Frank Miller's work, and the nitty gritty environments he creates.
