Bob Sproull is an experienced manufacturing executive with a distinguished track record of achieving improvement goals in Manufacturing, MRO, Quality, Product Development, and Engineering. His experience base ranges from low-volume custom products (truck bodies) to process industries (tires) to service industries (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul). He is a nationally known speaker and author on problem-solving and statistical techniques, as well as his latest book, The Ultimate Improvement Cycle - Maximizing Profits Through the Integration of Lean, Six Sigma and the Theory of Constraints. Sproull has functioned as a consultant to private equity firms as well as public sector government positions; as a Vice President, quality and engineering, at Morgan Corporation, a $200 million, seven facility manufacturer of truck bodies, and held similar positions and achieved similar results at a number of other companies. While serving as the General Manager of American Sunroof he executed a brilliant turnaround that significantly improved bottom line results in a very short time frame. Sproull has held technical positions at Michelin Tire and Xerox Corporation where he implemented the company's first statistical process control program on consumables years ago. Sproull is currently serving as a Senior Business Consultant for NOVACES after having been the Manager of the Office of Continuous Improvement for Army Fleet Support focusing improvement efforts on MRO for the US Army's fleet of helicopters. Sproull now has 3 published books with his latest released in January 2012 entitled, Epiphanized: Theory of Constraints, Lean and Six Sigma is written in a business novel format. Bob's last book (2009), the Ultimate Improvement Cycle - Maximizing Profits Through the Integration of Lean, Six Sigma and the Theory of Constraints is generally recognized as the first book on this new improvement methodology. Sproull's first book, Process Problem Solving: A Guide to Maintenance and Operations Teams, published in April 2001 by Productivity Press Inc., provides manufacturing workers the essential training and skills they need to understand the root causes of manufacturing problems. Sproull completed his undergraduate work at the University of Rochester where he dual-majored in Math and Physics. Sproull is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, an expert in TLS and is a Theory of Constraints Jonah. Sproull is an expert at maximizing profits through the integration of Lean, Six Sigma and the Theory of Constraints.
