Bobbie Groth (b. 1953) is a minister, social activist, and college professor, who has written much during her professional life about victims and survivors of violence. In her first book she re-opens a forgotten door in our national history and invites us into "Bleeding Kansas" and the story of her great great grandfather who lived those terrible times. Rev. Dr. Groth is an assistant professor of sociology at Alverno College, a cabinet member of the Interfaith Conference of Greater Milwaukee, and plays fiddle in the celtic music band, The Garlic Mustard Pickers.
