Bobbie Hinman grew up in Baltimore and holds a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Towson University. She is the author and co-author of seven successful cookbooks. These include the Lean & Luscious series and the Meatless Gourmet series. Bobbie has traveled all over the United States promoting healthy eating, both as a featured speaker and as a guest on radio and TV shows.Several years ago Bobbie decided to re-invent her literary career. With her experience as an elementary teacher, along with the joys of reading to her ten grandchildren, Bobbie has turned her attention to the world of children's literature. Through her fairy books, Bobbie uncovers the answers to some of life's mysterious dilemmas, such as tangled hair and missing socks. This is a cute book about fairies, like the fairy that steals your socks. So it's that kind of cute. The illustrations are nice and the children are diverse. The fairies are all white which is a bit strange. I like the sock fairy best.
