I really liked this book. The characters are realistic, the setting unfolds just enough to allow you a glimpse into their world without focusing too much on just the setting.
The Thoenes continue to write amazing historical novels. After all the books by them I've reviewed, I think I've exhausted my laudatory resources. So, if you want to know why the Thoenes' books are great, take a look at my other reviews of their works.
