Bonnie MacDougal is a former Philadelphia lawyer and the author of four novels about lawyers and the law. She made her debut in 1996 with the publication of Breach of Trust, followed over the next several years by Angle of Impact, Out of Order and Common Pleas. Her novels have been translated into eight foreign languages, and two were selected as book of the month by Club France Loisirs in Paris. She was also a contributor to the collaborative novel, Natural Suspect, written by a “dream team” of suspense novelists that included Brad Meltzer and John Lescroart. Bonnie received her undergraduate degree from Bryn Mawr College, magna cum laude with Honors in English literature, and her law degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
