Why did I buy this? So much wrong with this one, I don't know where to start. The cardboard characters and unreal storyline left me questioning my judgment. Overall, I'd rather spend my limited reading time on a better developed story.
3.5* Toni's insane mother notwithstanding this was a fun read.
I enjoyed this as a quirky kind of love story but the sudden and unexpected 'conflict' came out of nowhere and wasn't all that well executed. This would have been a five star read if the whole abuse plot line had been ditched.
