This an amazing start to this series. The characters each have their own feel and the reader will mostly feel a connection to Aurora. There were a couple of minor errors, and only one I had an actual problem with. There's a scene where Aurora receives a letter and while she reads it aloud and claims ...

My Thoughts - 4 out of 5 unicorns - I really liked it!Wow, Candace created a whole new world for me to love and be sucked right into :) This is the first book in the series, and for me, there were a couple parts that I didn’t find interesting, but it was required for character building. The 2nd ha...

I thought this book was okay. It didn't really grip me and force me to want to know what happens next. Actually, I wanted to know more about what was going on during the book, but the author only gave vague hints here and there. Perhaps the second in the series will be more enlightening.

Yeah, ...

Argh! I am so tired of books like this!I truly do not understand how this is rated so highly. The protagonist was so....weak, like all the time... I don't know what about her gives anyone the impression that she's strong. She's just like all the rest of them. Reasons I disliked Aurora:1) She couldn'...

I know some people have given this book rave reviews, but for me, it was a letdown. I was barely 15% through it and I was already skimming. Never a good sign. I persevered, though, hoping it would get better. Sadly, it didn't. I felt no connection at all to the main characters, and as a result, none...
Unapologetic Reader, Psychotic Writer
Dear book,You suck.Sincerely, Me.Oh? It’s not enough? Reasons needed? How about I give you five:1.Aurora – She sucked. She was selfish. She was whiny. She was worse, worse, hell lot worse than even the worst characters I have met (Yes. Bella, Nora, Luce, Ever and Clary are included. *gasp*)2.Fenn – ...
