I'm a huge fan of books set during the Roaring Twenties, and Born of Illusion is no exception. It has its flaws, but Anna is an overall likable protagonist, and the magic i...

This is one of those books that I've been really wanting to read. Going into it hoping I'd love it and in the end it was not only entertaining but also fascinating - both the magic and the era. I'm looking forward to the next chapter in Anna's story. Full review to follow soon.

Loved the setting, but the plot was a bit slow in catching my interest. Glad I persevered though.
