by S.E. Jakes
Sexy times. Little relationship development. Fairly standard Jakes fare with the extra OTT D/s convos and mild kink factor I expect in this series. At least you always know what you're getting.
Really enjoyed this but I wish Clint/Jace had more of focus on their romance a bit. The way the book was split with Clint/Jace and Sawyer/Rex, they really ended up paling in comparison to Sawyer/Rex for a lot of the book. Though it did shift towards the end. I did really enjoy both couples.
This book was well written, and I enjoyed all the characters. However, since we got the story of two couples, Jace and Clint and Rex and Sawyer, things got a bit confusing. Ok, life's too short for a romance novel you can't get into, so I decided to discontinue reading Bound By Danger by SE Jakes. Another gay romance author, by the way, who has two initials instead of a forename. Here's what I didn't like and what prevented me from continuing reading. I know it's never ...
Hot guys, hot sex, and good writing. I do love this series. :)
Quite a complex story involving multiple characters and plot lines. Central to the story is the relationship between Jace, a navy SEAL, and Tomcat/Clint, who is CIA. Tomcat is working undercover with a motorcycle gang in which Jace's cousin is involved. Jace is roped in my the FBI to provide intel o...
Clint!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's a sexy mofo! And Jace makes a really great lover for Clint. Clint has been a favorite character of mine so I was a little nervous with the kind of man, SE Jakes would set him up with. I was not disappointed. This story has oodles of sex, yummy alpha men (truthfully it's lik...
Book four in this series is just as tasty delightful. I know I can count on S.E. Jakes to deliver a smexy hot story about military men. This time, Clint “Tomcat” Sommers's story is finally told. He helped Styx with his relationship issue earlier. Now, Tomcat who's been deep undercover for a whil...
I enjoyed this installment of Men of Honor. I loved seeing the other guys from prevous stories. This one reads a bit differently in that it is almost two stories in one. Not sure if I really liked that or not, because it was a bit jumpy. Another thing that kept jumping out at me was the use of n...
