Reading like The Night Before Christmas, this fun library read is sure to please! From things that go bump in the night, or creepy crawly treats, this book was well illistrated and a blast to read aloud!
I've read better children's stories. The writing feels dry, bland. It definitely feels like something a 12 year old would write. Originally read: July 17-19 2012
I think the story could have been a bit more detailed, but it was nice overall. Liked the illustrations, especially those of the Jack O'Lanterns.
This book was actually better than I expected it to be. There were definitely moments where I was rolling my eyes, but I did enjoy it overall, especially for a middle grade book.
