Malcolm really is the perfect villain. I enjoyed Nick and Vanessa together- more please! This had my attention from beginning to end.
It took me a little while to really get into this novella since it's been a while since I've read this series and I didn't feel all that connected to the characters at first. I really hoped Malcolm would die in this one, but that was clearly too much to hope for.
