Good escapism. Not pure romance by any stretch of the imagination so don't read it if that's what you're looking for.
Early Ms. Roberts is enjoyable but not as good as her J.D. Robb books. Glad she tried her hand at romantic suspense early on. This one wasn't bad, but it was forgettable.
