Writing- 4Storyline/Plot- 4Character- 4.5 Overall- 4.1 I really liked this book, but Ember annoyed more in this book than he first. Although I still really like her. Full Review to come!
Chase and Ember are back. Ember now knows the dangers the Statutes and the Moral Militia pose. She is no longer naive. She has seen it for herself. Along with Chase, she has joined a sort of resistance. And while her ultimate goal is for her and Chase to get to a safe house on the coast, they are he...
I really had trouble getting into this the second time around. I remember loving it the first time I read it this summer, but something about it bored me a little whereas I found the first one easy to re-read. I couldn't be bothered to finish this. Maybe I'll pick it up later but I doubt it. I just didn't like the characters and didn't feel like the it was going anywhere.

Ember and Chase Jennings are taken in by the resistance under Wallace, but...
This series is a lot like Unravel Me, it's a romance story in a dystopian setting. It's an enjoyable read but I wish the focus was more on the dystopia.
