BREATHING ROOM is one of those SEP books that just fun. Fun because of the extremely witty banter between the hero and heroine. And fun because Susan Elizabeth Phillips can make you believe you are wherever her characters are.In BREATHING ROOM, we're introduced to very high strung, always in contr...

This is an SEP that I just keep coming back to. Whenever I'm in a book slump, Breathing Room is there to cradle me and remind me how much I love books again. Such a fun read!

I am soo happy I think I wanna cry right now!!This book was so good. Chicago Stars level good. After the dissapointment in most of Wynette series I have to admit that I started reading with low expectations but SEP did it again! The book was yummy! It has humor, drama, romance and a hero to-die-for....

Not sure how that's going to affect my rating at the end of this book. Didn't affect it at all, the narrator was so good and her other voices were great, it wasn't aw...

Isabel has her life in order. Completely. So she's completely unprepared when it all falls apart. She escapes to Tuscany to try to get things back in order, but she's thrown for a loop when Lorenzo Gage first pretends to be someone else (she thinks he's a gigolo) and then is ultimately her landlord....

I liked this one more than some of the more popular SEP books. I found Isabel to be a more functional heroine. She's certainly down on her luck but she didn't seem as beat down or sexually dysfunctional as other heroines. It was a cute tale of opposites attracting set in Tuscany, with great descr...

Dr. Isabel Favor has hit rock bottom. She's broke, her reputation is in tatters. For a self-help guru she apparently can fix everyone else's life but her own.So she takes a vacation. And where better than Tuscany, Italy, the favorite hiding place for the Americans (see the movie with Diane Lane if y...
